Happy Halloween! We're in Barcelona now. We had a loooong journey getting here. Our boat had to go to Roscoff in France instead of Santender, Spain, because of the bad weather conditions. Then we had to travel by coach for 15 hours to Santander, pick up our hire car and drive another 7 hours to Barcelona! But now we're here so all is good! We've walked and walked and walked around the city seeing all the sites. It's lovely and sunny and there's so much to see! Eaten lots too...we need the energy after all our walking! Today we've been to Barcelona's big cathedral La Sagrada Familia, and now we're going back to La Rambla where there are lots of little shops and streets and a big square with huge palm trees where we like to eat. There are lots of street performers too whom are a little strange I have to say! I try and stay away from them in case they talk to me and try and get me to participate in whatever they're doing! Well, the sun is shining, the sites are waiting and we need to sip coke under an umbrella at some little water-front cafe with our name on it! (not literally of course although (Kathryn) we did see a "Kevin's School of English," did you know about this?) Well, so long for now, we miss everybody loooaaads! Will try and write when we get to Alicante - our cruise begins tomorrow. Bye my friends!
