The time has come to say goodbye to the beautiful east coast. We left the lighthouse yesterday, after taking a blissful last walk along the beach, and made our way off of PEI. We did get a little lost, but the GPS made sure that even though we were on a tiny farmers dirt road we somehow still managed to find the confederation bridge. And hey, who doesn't want a car covered with red dirt to fit in with the locals?
Once on the mainland, the recurring question was 'where am I?....Who am I?' We knew we were heading to Moncton, but the actual name of the province we were in eluded us all! We clearly are not always as smart as we believe ourselves to be ;)
Last evening and this morning was spent touring Moncton, going to mass, and laughing at Marissa's inability to say ' noupe ' correctly...she has yet to learn the nose tapping wiseness of Andrea and Samara's fancy accents. The good news is the 'lockin-popping' dance video has successfully been uploaded to Youtube! After all the technological roadblocks, we may still be famous!!!!
Reflecting on the week, we are all very thankful for the love, laughter and beautiful sights we all shared. Hopefully we will not be eaten by live lobsters of our flight home, as we are surrounded by boxes filled with claw snapping aliens that will be flying with us, but we look forward to seeing you all soon, as we return from our east coast adventures! Thanks for following our travels!
