Hi Bal, met Ian C who forwarded me your link, have really enjoyed browsing your site, helped while away the last half hour at work. Looks like youre having a great time, am very envious. Did you not go to the Boxing Day test in Sydney? I didnt see any pictures Been to Vancouver many times but never seen the dam, will remember next time though. Nothing much happening at VAX, apart from your protégé, Vaughn has reassigned. Got to dash, shopping night tonight, expecting new & expecting lines at Sainsburys. Take Care Grin

Hi Bally
Hope all's well wherever you are now!
Just to let you know, Gigs says Hi: He's back from Italy and it's his birthday on Tuesday (17th) so we'll be going out for drinks then. Also, I've passed the website link onto Nilesh, who is desperate to see the photo of us shivering in the cold in NY!
lots of love, Johnny x

Hi Bal! Great to be able to follow your trip, and I promise I will write you an email soon! Not that I've got much to tell mind, we can't all be globetrotters... :-(
Marcella
Bal, you clever woman!! What a good trip you've planned. All sounds fascinating. We saw news of the transport strike in n.y and the awful fires in Sydney, sounds like you managed to escape both! Well done you! Enjoy the rest of your travels. Marcella xxx

Hi Bal, I'm very jealous. Sounds like you're having a fantastic time. Excellent website. I'm sure you'll get used to the trauma of the non-English weather. I'm sitting here cold & dripping wet having just disposed of the xmas tree in the pouring rain at 2 degrees. I'm off to sit next to a radiator.
Keep in touch and see you when you get back.
Love,
Ian.
Bal
Hi thanks everyone for your lovely messages. I'll update the site whenever I can find the time when I'm not having the time of my life!!
To answer your question Geoff, the weather started extremely hot at 45degC on new years day but has thankfully cooled down quite a bit, it was even only a mere 20degC one day and we've had a bit of rain in the past few days, reminded me of an English summer and yes I was told that I'd brought the English weather with me!
Best regards all and will write again soon.
John
Hi Bally
Wow this is a great idea! We're all so not jealous of course - cripes it's cold here.
