WELLINGTON....THE BEST CITY EVER?? POTENTIAL.
NORTH ISLAND, NEW ZEALAND

One of my favourite cities ever! Its such a beautiful place. It has everything you need in a city and yet doesn't feel like a city at all. A "mountain" to climb, shopping centres, bars, heaps of cool places to eat, a brilliant free museum, water front and an awesome play park! (No really...you have to check it out!!

Cuba street - full of cafes, bars and shops. A really cool street with great character and lots of street performers. Home to the current caramel milkshake champion.

Wellington civic - home of the library, museum and other educational buildings its a cool place to hang out.

Embassy theatre - owned by Peter Jackson himself a great cinema/theatre experience. I watched the Hobbit 2 in the home of its creator. Pretty cool??!!

One of its many great restaurants is Genghis Khan. A Mongolian, BYO, all you can eat for $20 BBQ. Just grab a bowl and fill it with noodles, veg, meat, spices and sauces then give it to the chef to cook on a hot plate BBQ. Few minutes and your eating. If you starve yourself before you can get your moneys worth. You can take your own bottle of wine for $5.00 extra too.

Loads of hostels about and the public transport is pretty sweet so getting about isn't an issue. Beautiful city I can see why the man who brought us Lord of the Rings chooses to live here himself.

A definite contender for best city ever!!!
