Over the past few days we visited Iguazu Falls on both the Brazilian and Argentinian boarders. First day at the Brazilian side to give a better view of the scale and size of the falls and the second day Argentina to see the real impact the waterfalls bring. Short stop in São Paulo, gave us a welcomed break on the journey from Paraty to Iguazu Falls and also let us see the biggest city in Brazil, 20 million people! After leaving Ilha Grande we headed further down the coast to the town of Paraty. Few days there before heading on the mammoth journey to Iguazu Falls! Paraty is a beautiful old town with a big historic centre. A chilled few days was needed after Rio and Ilha Grande was perfect for that! A tropical island just off the coast of Brazil, a few hours south of the city of Rio. It's called the big island but much of it uninhabited because of the thick forest.
