Thought I'd do a quick update as we wait to pick up our car to leave San Francisco. It's been a relatively chilled last couple of days - probably much needed to be honest!

We have managed to see the majority of the sights of San Francisco though, however the Golden Gate Bridge hasn't emerged from the fog since our first day here - good job we got a glimpse of it then.

We spent Saturday doing a tour of Downtown San Francisco and then shopped until we dropped, the suitcases will definitely be a lot fuller on the way home. We finished the day off with a visit to Chinatown, not the best Chinese we've ever had but made a change. We came back hanging on to the side of a cable car - this is definitely one thing you have to do in your life!

Yesterday, we grabbed a cable car up to Lombard Street, the crookedist street and snapped some pics before wandering down to Fisherman's wharf - not too much of a walk, but pretty much vertical (down thank God!). Lunch at "The Codmother" was good, before more wandering and a little more shopping - Abercrombie and Fitch was calling :-)

We finished the day off with a couple of beers, and a visit to the Cheesecake Factory - WOW - we really need to get some of these in the UK. We had Oreo Dream Extreme and Key Lime, both were amazing.

When we have collected our car later this morning we head off down to coast towards Los Angeles. Next stop Monterey!
