Left the Principality of Hutt River this morning and took the long way round through the town of Northampton towards Port Gregory, where we are staying at the historic Lynton Station. We left the lovely Murchison House Station next to the Kalbarri National Park after three nights camped by the river. Before we left, I went to see the farm animals including llamas, chickens and goats. We did some chores in Kalbarri (supermarket, dump point and fuel) before heading south of town, skirting the stunning coastal cliffs, surf breaks and hidden coves. It rained steadily all night last night - but was still quite warm inside the caravan. We woke up to slush and mud outside but at least it only rained intermittently during the day. We decided to stay here at Murchison House Station another day as we weren't keen to drive the car and caravan out the 4km of slushy dirt out to the main road. We are still staying at Murchison House Station just out of Kalbarri, and this morning Gadi left early to check out the nearby national park, with its gorges and canyons and Cadbury and I chilled at our campsite.
