Mexico City - not a bad first impression!

Really really REALLY big trees in Sequioa national park! On a couple of small hikes we saw hundreds of those gigants, amongst them 'General Sherman', supposedly the tree with the biggest volume of wood in the whole world. Approx. 1400 years old if I recall correctly?

Before leaving central LA for a night of camping in the Santa Monica mountains, we went for lunch at a health food café (very necessary to give our bodies a break from all the burger fat!) and then a stroll along the boardwalk at Venice beach.
