Yes, the churches (and holy boy Jesus) are colourful as well. Balloons are THE thing here!

Lunch break at the market in Chiapa de Corso with some yummie pollo con mole... yes, they really decorate so colorful all year round! An hour before we were on a boat tour through an amazing canyon, seeing some (rather lazy) crocodiles and a couple of (rather active) monkeys.

A sleepy greeting from our hostel room in San Cristobal - apparently rain season is starting and it was pouring down all morning, which gave us an excuse to go back to bed after a short yoga session in the morning. Now I need to kick the sleepy head out of bed so we can go and try some of the delicious coffee they grow here in the Chiapas region. Countdown to our return: Exactly 4 weeks!
