Who said we were lazy?
The next morning finds us doing yoga on a platform above the river (no, it's not the Mekong, that's on the other side!) at 7.30 am.
Painful (since we actually have been quite lazy), but oh-so-good!

After two days in Nong Khiaw and a rather bumpy minivan ride, we arrive in glorious Luang Prabang.
A hike up the inner-city hill (with a temple on top) is in order... ok, we obly go half-way, but the sunset views are still quite alright!
Nong Khiaw, Laos
Still not a bad view from the window ... sadly the river here is too muddy for a dip, but instead we spend some hours at the local steam sauna, meeting some nice people while sitting outside in our dripping sarongs, sipping litres of Lao tea. Wellness Lao-style!
Muang Ngoi Neua, Laos
Leaving sleepy Muang Ngoi Neua by boat for the slightly bigger Nong Khiaw - thanks for a very different New Year's Eve (which the locals celebrated way harder than we did, with a 3 day all-day drinking spree).
Now we'll ease back into civilisation!
