The adventure begins! It's currently 12.20am on Saturday 7th November. I have made my way through baggage check in and customs which took about 2 hours. Was excited to see Melbourne International Airport for the first time, but disappointed to find most places were shut at this hour (no different to good old Perth where I am originally from!). So I am now waiting in the departures lounge at Gate 18 for my 1.05am flight! First flight to Singapore then to Koh Samui...

After booking this trip about 10 months before departure, I am finally down to "2 more sleeps"! Bags are packed, 2.5 more days off work left and then it's airport time at 10pm Friday night. Even though I have moved to new cities on my own, this will be my first solo holiday adventure #solotravel #solotraveller #soloyolo Koh Phangan - see you on Saturday. Hopefully the sunshine is waiting for me when I get there :)
