Our trip into Bangkok city is taking 1.5 hours and counting. We are caught in the tail end of the Red Shirt political protest.

Later that night we had to walk through them all to get to dinner. Upon buying a red scarf for a souvenir, hundreds of people clapped and waved as we walked proudly down the street.
