Yes, we are still in the Pilbara and still loving it and could stay here a long time except there are other things to see and do and unfortunately everyone else likes it here too (tho mostly because of the very well paid mining industry jobs) and the accom around here is the highest we have seen anywhere in our travels. We have moved base to Dampier but in between our last entry and this we have caught up with Jodie, Shane, Kaylee and Zander whom we first met in Kununurra and have had a great time hanging with them and also spending a night with them at their camp at Cleaverville and helping to celebrate Zander's 2nd birthday.
There is not really a great deal to report apart from that because the 2 weeks we spent in Point Samson consisted of a lot of the same - beach walking, reef & rock walking, getting squirted by octopus - you know how it is.
And our 3-day only stay in Dampier has been severely hampered by me waking up on our first morning here with a shocking cold which quickly developed into a fever and by the afternoon Jude had joined me in my misery and the two of us spent all of yesterday and last night hidden away in the van sucking back Olive leaf extract and eventually paracetamol so we could sleep. Much better this morning but still a bit tired and stuffed up so not much happening today either.
Can't really complain cos apart from Jude have a bit of a cold a couple of weeks ago we really haven't been sick at all on our travels so had to expect something to eventually catch up.
Where will we be next time I write? Well I really couldn't say. Might be Karijini NP, or Carnarvon or even Monkey Mia. Wildflower season is beginning around here so time to get out and see them.
Go you big red Sturt Desert Pea!

Cal What an awesome opportunity Pauline! Glad you're enjoying the red dirt so much. It really does get into your veins! Hope you're both feeling better by now. Love to you both. God bless. xxx Psalm 8! :D
