Hello world!
Day two is to an end. We didn't sleep all that great last night, we both woke up a bunch of times which lead to us waking up five minutes before breakfast was over... We got some food at least and then sleepy me (Kajsa) took forever to get ready, so we didn't leave the hostel as early as planned. It was all good though, we got to Batu Caves without any hassle.
Right now there is some sort of I believe it was Hindu celebration, which means there was lots of people there, but nothing compared to what it will be tomorrow, since they're having sort of a parade going to Batu Caves that started I China town. There will be about 500 000 people there, and a man who works at the hostel kept telling us that it was a shame we didn't go tomorrow instead. However, I can't help but feeling that was a really good decision on our part. It just doesn't feel like that great of a Sunday, being jammed together with people with no real way of getting out.
Today we met the first group of Swedish people, a group of guys who was just about to leave our hostel. Cool, very cool, but not nearly as cool as the fact that we were eating and a guy on the other couch asked where in Sweden we were from, in Swedish. Totally random, he was Austrian! The people you meet... Today was also the first day we managed to get in touch with the world we left, as we talked to our favoriteHelena! Great to see her again, and Filippa also managed to talk to her boy back home.
We also went to the Petrona towers today, once it got dark. Super pretty, although we didn't go up in them. We'll probably go up in the KL tower tomorrow, if we don't end up getting stuck in a mall like we did today. We also found Little India on complete random, and ended up there twice since we got lost on our way back from the train station. What would a day in KL be without us being really lost at least once be like? Probably really lame and boring.
I would like to take this chance to wish my dad happy birthday! I hope you had an amazing day and I promise we'll Skype soon. Don't worry about us cause we're doing fine. I love you lots!
That's all for today I believe. Take care everyone, and promise none of you will freeze to death!
