Hey EJ, this old coot & his wife turned up at our place for a gay and arty (party) last night. The old coot's wife gave me a kiss from you! I think the old coot was gunna bash someone with his walking stick if they didn't behave! He is bloody amazingly mobile, I reckon much more than last time.
We got to bed at 4.00 am, and there wasn't too much mess to clean up this morning. tom & Amy cleaned up outside & there were only two broken glasses. hardly a party, eh (Just remember we are a smidge older than ewe...)
EJ, can I attach a pic on this site for you?

Saw Jo and Doug recently and they, as usual, are fine. Rayner had a call from your Dad who seems to be progressing well.
We are having a spell of more autumnal weather, thank goodness the awful heatwave is over. It's hard to think of you freezing when we are so hot.
Your living conditions, having friends to stay and going out with Aussie friends remind me of my time in London when single - only we went to coffee bars, not pubs, & we hitchhikes around which was a bit different because after the WWII things were pretty low key. We still had rationing of food and clothes! I gather Aussie workers are still appreciated for being capable. You have certainly proved your worth.
Anyeay, have lots of fun - it's so different from "real life"

Hi Emma,
great to talk to you yesterday, you are having such a great time and meeting so many new friends. What an amazing experience for you.
All is well with me now, I am not playing for the crows for a while though. They are having 2 matches tonight against Norwood and Glenelg.
We are in the middle of a hot period, mostly 35-40C for the last and next week, I must be getting soft but thank God for Air Con.
speak/write to you soon, love Dad xxxx

Hi everyone, just letting you know I have more pics of London up now.
Denys
Hi Em, I've just come home from visiting your Dad - he looks well (considering all he's been through!), with good colour and seems more comfortable now (and obviously much relieved he's got better breathing). It was lovely, and a great relief to see him. He was sitting up in a chair eating tea (well a tub of icecream anyway) and watching the One Day cricket - very Duncan! Glad to hear you're getting paid - wow what a wait! Keep well and stay out of the back alley!!
Love U. Denys
PS we're now on broadband! and have a new email address: [email protected]
Kate
Hello Emma,
I think that you should take your camera with you to some of the clubs you go to in London! I hope that you have enough money to go and see all the beautiful things, love Kate. xxoo.
