Our day started with a visit to the motorhome hire company as we had a few problems and as we were passing Cairns on our way down to Sydney we thought we would get them sorted! The weather has not dropped below 30 degs and we were looking forward to getting on the road and out of the rain forest as it is so humid Our air conditioning has been on day and night and is essential
After just a short drive and a stop to replenish food and alcohol ;-) We stopped at Mission beach for a picnic lunch It was a beautiful unspoilt part of the coast but the sea and the sea looked really inviting but the stinger and crocodile signs were everywhere!
yWe stayed the night at yet another fantastic campsite Most have pools and a camp kitchen which is free to use and all of them have been so clean and well equipped Thelaundry facilities too are effortless and everything drys in half an hour ..even towels!
So an early night was in order and catch up on the blogs and photos :-(( it was then we realised the wifi in Queensland is rubbish! In the middle of the rainforest it was brilliant but for 2-3days it was to be rubbish!
