Today we got up early as we took the ferry across the English Channel to Dunkirk in France. The weather was very overcast but the channel was calm so the trip was very smooth. We were at the ferry terminal at 8.45am and the weather looked pretty bleak. The trip took about 2hrs. We had breakfast on-board and enjoyed the view outside on the back deck. Sorry about the delay in posting the blog. No Wi-Fi so I had to wait till it was available. Sunny morning and great for our trip to Kent where John was born and spent part of his early life.
