We have seen the Flamenco the real thing and thought it was electrifying. See hot off the press photos. It is very hot here in Seville 34 degrees. The days are long sunrise at 6am and still 34 degrees at 10pm last night with the sun still shining brightly in the sky! Siesta is not a luxury its an absolute necessity.
The Americas Cup is showing on Spanish tv we cant understand any of it of course but you only needed to speak the lanuage of horror and gasping when the spinnaker ripped across. Very embarrassing for Kiwis in foreign places! Heres hoping for today.
We have picked up a few words: casa de bouban is toilet in Portuguese, in Spanish it is servicio. We can say thank you in Portuguese Obligado and in Spanish Gratheas. Robert says that the best way to communicate is to go into a shop and shout in English - it sort of works.
Seville is preparation for Morroco as we have been warned about pickpockets here but apparently much worse to come. We are taking bottled water with us over the border as apparently you cant trust the bottled water that you buy in Morroco.
