Puerto Viejo De Talamanca, Costa Rica
Puerto Viejo was kind of what I was expecting - definitely got the reggae vibe, but it was a lot dirtier than I thought. Seems to be improving in parts but the main town has some ups and downs. A lot of scums but not as dangerous as I was told. Manzanillo Park (45 min bike ride) was a really cool hike with the beach right next to the trail, private little beaches, very romantic for a couple to escape to all day. Didn't make it to Punta Mona other side of the park...
