GO THE DIVA!!!! GO THE DIVA!!!! was the cry from the 106,000 very hot and intoxicated racegoers, as Makybe Diva romped home for her 3rd straight Melbourne Cup victory. Aud had backed the Diva to win and collected her 3 dollars. Our day out at the Cup was cracking. Absolutely everyone in Melbourne stopped for the day to watch the race. Like the Grand National times 10. Stew had 2 winners out of five on a successful day for the one time best gambler in Duntocher. It has been roasting for the past week here in Oz and we are now staying in a place called St Kilda which is a beachside resort just outside the city. Back to living in hostels after being absolutely spoiled for the past 5 days from Moira. Will miss the home cooked meals!!!!! Anyway, hope all is well back home. Off to get more sun.
