Just a quick one. This is what we've been looking for! It's gorgeous! All we've done is laze around and have a few drinks. Ben has some more paid work so he's been busy. We'll be doing some snorkelling before we leave on Saturday morning but we're just having a lovely time!

From Kuta, Bali, it took us a couple of hours to reach Padang Bai. After a quick check in to a tree house/cottage place to stay (porch downstairs with a bathroom behind, balcony upstairs and the bedroom. All made of wood with a thatched type roof) we headed to 'Blue Lagoon', a bay apparently good for snorkelling. It was pretty (see pic) but not quite what we expected. Long catch up blog time! A 10/11 hour bus journey to KL was no fun but watching Ben trying to go for a wee in the men's prayer room at a 'service station' along the way was rather amusing. They had men and women signs on the doors to be fair to him. I had to give it a couple of seconds to decide whether to go after him and tell him but I decided I better had-I didn't want him being arrested for indecent exposure in a religious place! We arrived in KL at about 7...

I am alive!!!!! We have spent 3 nights and very full days in KL and done so much! We've been that busy that I haven't had chance to blog but will do soon, we have barely had any sleep! If I told you that it took us 1 bus to a nearby town from the jungle, where I only managed 1 hours sleep before our 3am train which took 7 hours, then another 3 buses, a 40 minute speedboat and then a 2 minute taxi boat to reach the smaller of the two Perhentian islands, you'd think we were mad (or skint, but doing it this way saved us nearly £30!)
