Today I got up bright and early to catch the train up to Belfast at 7. I got to see where the Titanic was built and the ruins of a castle ( can't remember the name now). I had joined a group for a tour of the Atrium. We stopped at the ruins of DunLuce castle. It's a very romantic type of place, with the clear blue ocean and white sands behind it.
Then we were off to the Giant's Causway. The rock formations are even more awesome in person....You can see Scotland while you are there and it was a beautiful clear day so I could.....So technically I saw part of Scotland too ;) It is a total must see for anyone.
Then we drove down the road to Cricka Rope Bridge. You walk along the coast until you get to a rope bridge 80 feet in the aiir above the ocean. You need to work up the nerve...the wind makes it frighteneing. The waters are so blue and green and always seems to change depending on what cove you happen to be in. Many pictures taken today.
Ended up getting back to the hostel at 11:30pm...so tired! Totally worth it.
