Bex left to return to Cambridge today, having been home just long enough to wash her clothes, get her hair cut and repack! Still, it was lovely to see her and hear about the wonderful time she had in Vietnam and Cambodia.

I have your first client waiting to meet you hayles. She is a patient of mine, who has rescued a horse from a bad environment. He has some challenging behavioural problems due to his past and this lady would be glad of your help and input.

Jess and I made the 27 hour trip to massachusetts safely. She is happy to have some of her stuff in the apartment, especially her shoes and purses. It isbeautiful up here, but I am going to miss all the fall colors by about two weeks. On Friday I get to meet Nate's mom and I'm looking forward to that.

I thought i'd just let you know that although Borneo was heaven they kicked us out, and it doesnt matter coz we have found a new heaven here in the Gili Islands and we are not coming back ...sorry.

So glad to read that the trip to Borneo was such a success. I know that no words will ever be able to capture the magic, but you did a great job of painting the picture.

On Friday Jess and I are driving up to see her new home in Massachusetts (she flies in on Thursday). I'm hoping that I'll be able to see the very beginning of the changing of the leaves. It's going to take about 30 hours of driving to get there (this is a big country!).

In case you heard about the Earthquakes..we are fine! been on the beach for the last three days so thank god it didnt affect us!

I wanted to have all the photos of Borneo up today and some of the Bali picks too but the website uploading system seems to have changed format and it is just impossible!! we have been reduced to uploading 25 at a time grrr. so there are some on there ...the rest coming soon i hope. will do a blog when i can be arsed, i'm having too much fun relaxing!

So glad to hear that all is well. I'll look forward to reading about what sounds like it was a grand adventure. Texas is a little lonely as Uncle Sam and Auntie Hilary have returned to Devon and Jess has moved to Massachusetts. To compensate I went out and bought myself a used convertible. It's really fun to drive down the highway with the top down and the cruise control set. I have only two weeks left at my job before I leave to start my new businesses. It's going to be an interesting autumn. Look forward to hearing more from you both.
