It's official, I am leaving grey Aberdeen City for Sydney, Australia (with Jill too) on the 19th January on a one-way ticket!!!

Notice has been handed in (was pretty nervous doing this!)
Parents/family/friends have been informed.
Flights have been paid for.

Flights go like this:

19th Jan 3.50pm leave Aberdeen to London.
20th Jan 8.50pm Leave London - Hong Kong - land there for about 2 hours and then hop on another plane to Sydney arrive on the 22nd January 7.15am. Flying with Cathay - hope they are as good as they look - anyone thats knows me, will know I am not the best on planes - thank god for the free booze that will be provided ;)

Plan of action:

Stay in Sydney for a week or so, I am doing a group thing called Oz Intro, looks like a fun way to get me started! From there I am unsure - possibly heading to Melbourne and look for work before travelling around, from Melbourne head to Perth to visit my uncle/auntie/cousins - very excited about this! Hopefully find a job in Perth and stay there for a few months before hitting the West Coast up to Darwin. From Darwin shall head down to the "Red Centre" and then back to Sydney and up the East Coast.

Obviously this all depends on cash - please someone stop letting me out at the weekends!

Hoping to get some specified work i.e: fruit picking or farming work and this will allow me to apply for a 2nd WHV (working holiday visa for those not in the know!).

All this goes to plan I hope to visit:

Fiji or another Island - which I'm not sure of yet!
New Zealand is a must! Shall hopefully get some work here too and visit some friends :)
Bali - heard its a wonderful/beautiful place so must try and squeeze this in.
South East Asia - really want to travel around here, and must go to a Full Moon Party - to say I've been and survived haha!!

Sleeping Liner - tick (funky, screaming pink sleeping Liner -you're not allowed sleeping bags in Oz due to bed bugs - much easier to wash sleeping liners...)

Camera - tick and thanks to Derek I now have a new one...which won't be coming on nights out!!

Now all i need is: Money...I am getting there, and some travelling items :)
