The bus was pretty crappy for the whole 8 hours and when we arrived to Chiclayo the taxi man took us to this hotel we didn't even want him to, blatantly he worked for them or had some sort of commission thing going on! Turns out it actually wasn't too bad, nice shower and had cable TV so got to watch Chelsea batter Spurs 4-2 so that was a nice end to an awful day of travelling!! Pottered around the bus terminal in Guayaquil for 5 hours, the place was the size of terminal 5 it was huge!! Got our photos taken again by some girls, probably should start charging soon. The bus was amazing probably the nicest bus I've been on, got a meal and Wi-Fi so managed to see how amazingly England got on against Poland... Arrived in Mancora about 11 and went for a few beers in the Loki bar, seemed quite a cool bar met some Aussie girl we kept meeting up ...

Met this Aussie girl in the airport and grabbed a taxi to some hostel she had heard good stuff about, the place was insane. The shower was off the hook, super-hot showers, was so clean and the food was quality too! Went to a bar for a couple of bars and was real funky and pretty cool. Got up early and hit the gold museum was actually pretty cool spent about 3 hours there! Wandered around town having some nice Mexican meat stuff and then grabbing a coffee and ch...

Got here late afternoon and hiked up a million stairs to check into a hostel, the rooftop view really sick! Got on it straight away and headed off on a bit of a pub crawl with the guys from the hostel. Was a real good night and got battered, me and Joel rocking back at 4am. We got to the bus terminal about midday and none of us felt that bad, although it's suddenly cold!! Checked into this hostel and booked to do a Pablo Escobar tour in the afternoon. It was pretty interesting, saw his bombed out old house, grave and one of his houses. His brother still lived in the house so we got to ask him a few questions which was cool.
