Mom took me to Legoland for my birthday weekend! We had so much fun! Legoland is so under-rated! It was a blast! People don't think there's much to do for adults, but there really was!
I loved that all the decorations were made out of legos, it made it that much more exciting and interesting. There were decorations for every restaurant and store and even the bathrooms! Lol
The first ride mom and I came upon was the Techno Schleuner, basically Legoland's version of the spinning tea cups. OMG it was so much fun! We didn't even spin the thing in the middle, but it spun on it's own and ended up going REALLY fast! LOL It was so much fun!
Then mom and I saw the Lego Einstein on the LEGO Mindstorms center. Part of that they had an area where you get a block and you match the colors on it to legos and then you give it to the woman that works there and she adds it to the board and I guess when it's done it will make a big image and will be a permanent display. So mom and I did it and our blocks were right below one another! lol
Then we wandered around a bit, mostly taking pics of all the cute Lego decorations and then ended up going to the LEGOLAND ATLANTIS by Sea Life. It had a video before you went into the aquarium which was nice because it was in German AND English! Then we walked through the aquarium which was really cool because there were Lego people in the aquarium that moved or did things and it didn't seem to bother the fish. Then mom and I went to Dino Grill for lunch. We split a steak meal and a slice of cake. It was really nice, and decently priced for a restaurant in a theme park!
Then we walked around the Pirate Land. We mostly took pictures there because the rides were mostly for little kids. But there was a pirate lego band that was funny so we took pics of that.
Then we went on my favorite kind of ride! One of those water rides with the BIG drops! The Dschungle X-pedition(jungle x-pedition lol). It was so much fun! I LOVE those rides!
We then went and rode the Safari Tour, which was so cool because all of the animals were made of legos and actually still looked lifelike!
Miniworld was next on our list. OMG It was so amazing it really was mini towns! Mini- Hamburg, Frankfurt, Berlin, Venice, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Munich airport, Neuschwanstein castle(which was beautiful), and the Allianze Arena. But my favorite was the new installation, STAR WARS!!! OMG that was freaking epic!
We rode the train around the park to see what's what, but it didn't have any other stops, but we did get to see a bit more and they actually have some decorations just on the train route. Then we went to LEGO Fabrik. We didn't stay and watch the presentation because it was all in German, but we got a free Lego out of it! Lol
Then they have like the production line of Legos which was cool, and it looked kind of like Test Track at EPCOT in there. Lol
We had to go back to the front of the park, because that's the only ATM in the whole park and we took pictures of the Lego family at the entrance and found a lego painter too.
Then we went to this castle and got in line, we didn't know what the ride was yet. We realize the father and daughter in front of us were American and so we started talking to them and asked them which ride it was. That's when I found out it was a roller coaster. But I figured if the 5 year old in front of me could ride it, so could I. So I toughed it out and it was really fun.
My camera died when we got on the dragon ride.
We bought this photo pass thing, that was only 20Euro for 5 park pictures. So we got 2 at the dragon ride, because some how we got separate in the picture, but that's ok mom is going to piece them together in photoshope. Lol
But after that we went on the big water drop ride again :D I was so excited!
We bought the picture there too and noticed a poster that had all the rides with photos. It said Miniland so we asked the lady how to get that. She said we had to go to the photo booth by the HERO Factory and ask there. So we went there and asked. They said a photographer would be out in 10 mins. We thought that was odd, but waited.
It was so worth it and so few people know about it!
He walked us over to Miniland and took our photo in front of any part of miniland we wanted. So we took one in front the Neuschwanstein Castle then one with Darth Vader. We got the star treatment, everyone was looking at us trying to figure out if we were famous! LOL
Then we just wandered around and enjoyed ourselves and had dinner.
That was one of the coolest theme parks EVER!

Daisy Sounds like y'all had a blast- an awesome way to spend your birthday :) Did Einstein's eyes freak you out following you in every direction you moved? ;P lol I didn't know about the picture thing either, sounds pretty cool! Wish I could've joined you all, but glad that you went and enjoyed yourselves :) Miss you, tons!
