We traveled from Paris to Bordeaux, but only stayed in Bordeaux for one night before heading to Spain. We stayed in a hostel for the night, it was awesome to sleep in a bed, have an actual bathroom and be able to charge our phones and cameras and everything! We went into Bordeaux that night for tea and had a look around; it's a really pretty city especially at night!! We walked around for so long looking for tea, all we felt like was kebabs and it was so worth it because we found amazing kebabs!! The man serving us didn't really speak English so we weren't exactly sure what we ordered and then he started sweating profusely!!I think it was the fact that the chips were IN the kebab not on the side that made them so good!!! We sat beside the river and ate dinner and watched the sunset!! It was awesome!!

That night we started a wee party just in one of our rooms but got kicked out so just sat outside. Having a bed to sleep in didn't encourage us to have an early night, the fact that we didn't have to get up early and take down our tents meant it would definitely be easier to get up no matter what time we went to bed!

…then the bed bugs came out!!! Until I came to England I thought bed bugs were just a fairy tale, and then they thought I had them in my room at my school but turns out it wasn't then Sarah and Pam had them in their room in Bordeaux!! In the morning their sheets were covered in spots of blood where they had bitten them, Pam woke up itching and covered in bites but Sarah didn't have any visible ones at all!! Everything got separated and washed just in case we took them with us!!
