Ok, so im trying to get the hang of this website on this Italian keyboard. Not an easy task but I finally figured out how to make the @ symbol, HOORAH!

Im sitting in my hostel in Rome as I type this, normally I would be doing something far more interesting but i'm fairly jetlagged and its raining pretty heavily outside. My flights went by without a hitch, I was lucky enough to secure three seats to myself on each flight so I was able to get some shut eye. Once in Rome I was fine until I got off at the wrong busstop and had to walk a couple miles to my hostel in the rain. This is when I realized my backpack was way to heavy. I'm trying to figure out a way to lighten it but i'm probably going to have to sacrifice a few items that would have been useful.

My hostel is very nice, its right in the center of Trastevere, which is the neighborhood John Cabot University is in, so i'm familiar with everything. There are a lot of older women and children staying here but for the price and location it really cant be beat. At the very least I will have time to catch up on my reading, writing and do some more trip planning until the weather subsides. It's supposed to rain again all day tomorrow, i'm hoping it wont be to heavy so that i can go out and exist without getting soaked. I think i will buy an umbrella even though i promised myself i would get along with just a rain jacket.

There really isnt anything else to say, I miss everyone and it was nice talking to some of you today! (im so happy the phone in my ipod works so well).

Oh, just fyi, that picture of the colloseum isnt mine, this silly site just made me pick a photo from a list or it wouldnt post my blog entry. Ill have my own pictures to post soon!

Also, i set up a travel plan so you guys can see where im going and when but the "when" part is all messed up so dont pay attention to the dates for now. I believe it comes up in the form of a map for you to see.
