Dear All,

Apologies for being so bad with updating our blog-having too much fun!

After leaving Paraty with our bodies slowly shutting down after Carnival, we hitched a ride with a couple from our hostel down to Florianoplois- an island just off the coast of Brazil. After 15 hours in the car and many near death experiences *lorry drivers here dont like being over taken and have a habit of lane changing* we finally arrived in the early morning. Our first hostel, Way to Go was a great place, fairly small and owned by a lovely woman called Roberta. During the day we went to the beaches and around the lagoon, then had a big night on the weekend- dont remember much from that! After a few days there, we moved to another hostel called Barra Beach Club. This place was right on the beach and was made up of a collection of beach huts. The views from the tower house bar were incredible and its a place we highly recommend to all visiting Florianopolis. During our first veiw nights we had torrential thunder storms in the early evening with heavy rain- we watched these from the tower bar at the hostel which was incredible! Lots of yummy men at the beaches although unfortunatly many of them are gay, and publically at that too! Ash had her heart broken when her favourite eye candy at the beach started kissing his boyfriend.

We ended up extending our stay there twice and stayed for a total of 12 days, very hard to leave! Spent alot of time exploring the beaches on the island and attempted a couple of treks into the outback! Unfortunatly, our dorm was robbed while we were out one night so we both lost our phones and India her camera, so no piccys or contact for a while sadly. Free Caipirinha's at the hostel everynight and really good and cheap dinner so we ended up partying every night, so much for a detox after carnival! We ventured to a Black and White Party in the central town *Ash couldnt put down the balloons, surprise surprise* and an awesome beach party with all the other hostels on the main beach, Mole. Lots of glow sticks fights!

Two particular people we met at the hostel were two Canadian Paramedics, possibly the two funniest people we have ever met. If you guys are reading this-we miss you!

After changing our bus ticket for the second time, we begrudgingly left Florianoplis on Wednesday night and got ther bus to Iguazu. It took 15 hours but we both slept the whole way as the seats on the buses are better than first class airplane seats! Staying at a nice hostel called Garden Stone on the Argentinan side, thank god it has a pool-35 degress at 10 am and no beach so a pool is needed! Heading off to the falls tomorrow to do all the touristy things and then in the evening we are heading to Buenos Aries on yet another night bus! Looking forward to lots of Red Wine and steak- including the eye candy- we hear its the best! After a week or so in BA we head onto to Mendoza, a region known for its wine!

We promise to try update this thing more regulary and up load pics when we purchase a camera!
