hi everyone!! been a while since i last let everyone know what was happening. so here it goes!! since i last left a blog things have got a lot better in red cliffs. thankfully ended upmakijng loads of friends. the hostel im staying at (bev and Micks) is'nt the best in the world but its not to bad. because the hostel is quite small, everyone works, hangs around and drinks with each other, so theres always someone to talk to. since iv been here iv done numerous jobs. i started off pickin grapes, then moved on to putting covers over garpes (harder than it sounds), iv took the covers off the grapes, worked packing grapes (easiest, the best and highest paid job i had) then finally i worked picking oranges the last couple of day (definately the worst paid job!!!). as during the week we all work not much happens but when the weekend rolls round it all kicks off!!! fridays and saturdays are quite can get quite mental!! because hte booze is expensive in the hostel we dont tend to drink too much in the bar, so we opt for the bench and a cask of goon accross the road!!! but usualy once time at the bench has come to an end we all move back into the hostel where usualy red cliffs residant DJ (DJ Pete) will be playing so the drinking and fun continues!! many times iv had to get up for work at half 4 in morning and people will dtill be drinking. then ill get back from work anywhere from half 7 to 10am and people will still be drinking!! in red cliffs we work hard but then we play hard!!!
unfortunately the red cliffs journey is coming to an end. im leaving for melbourne on sunday. iv enjoyed my time here meeting load of people from different background and countries but work is drying up and im just not earniing enough money to carry on living here. plus id like to get back to civilization and seen as st paddys day is coming up i think it would be4 a good idea to spend it in the city. also think its about time that ash and myself met back up as it has around six or seven weeks now.
will keep you updated with what happens when i arrive in melbourne.
