A free day for us so shopping was the plan for the day plus exploring the city of Bergen on foot.

Looked like it was going to rain initially but then fined up. Initially a bit cold then warmed up beautifully.

We walked a lot as trying to find various things we needed warm jacket for Devi, sunglasses for me, USB key for storage of photos and other things . We ended back at the hotel around 3.30 pm shower and got a bit dressed up for dinner. Lunch was at the Fish Market seafood soup again. Tourists everywhere.

We hopped on a boat and cruised for about an hour to an island where their is a restaurant called Cornelius and a house belonging to that. Had a wonderful seafood dinner with great wine. All the staff who work there are under 26 years of age. Trip back on the boat was quite cool at 10 pm. Lovely sunset just as we got back to the harbour.

Bergen had about 600 cruise liners visiting here last tourist season 40 in one day.
