After a pretty quick flight from Nadi, we landed in Auckland - which has a pretty impressive airport I might add! The first thing we noticed, and expected, was how the climate was pretty much the same as England. After travelling across Mexico, California and Fiji - and going through multiple bottles of suncream and aloe vera - we all welcomed this. Bula! We arrived in Fiji at 5am and received a warm welcome from the locals. We booked our stay on Mana Island at a travel agent in the airport, and the travel agents were kind enough to let Ben ring Nationwide in order to have a new bank card sent home. ......Meanwhile, back in the US of A, Ryan and Allister's trip couldn't have gone smoother. We left Palenque on the same route as Ben and Alex but headed straight for the airport instead of a day in Tulum! We had to wait a few hours for the flight but it was fairly straight forward and there were no complications with the journey.
