We got up bright and early this morning as we had to meet the bus at 7am for our trip to the Blue Mountains!! Our first stop was to see some wild kangaroos, although this was nothing exciting for Fez and Fizz as we are obviously pro travellers and have seen them many times before!! After that we stopped in a little town, and went to the bakers (which was obviously one of the highlights of the day!!) Then we drove for about half an hour, until we reached the national park and began our 2 hour trek to some of the best viewpoints in the Blue Mountains. It was slightly strenuous but the views were well worth it!! So we got back into the bus all hot and bothered and drove a little more until we reached a lookout at the northern point of the Blue Moutains where we stopped for a tasty lunch!! When we were here we could see the huge helicopters with a big hose attached carrying water to put out the bushfires that we burning away! Our next stop was the Three Sisters, which were 3 pillars of rock in amongst the mountains, that had some crazy story attached to them about how they got there!!! And finally, our last stop of the day was SCENIC WORLD!!! We had to walk down 1000 steps, which took about 40mins, and when we got to the bottom we caught the world's steepest railway back up to the top, which took all of one and a half minutes!!! It was so steep that the seats were designed so that you were practically lying down (when the train was on a flat surface). So it meant that we were sitting upright when the train went up the hill - thats how steep it was!!! We got dropped off at Blue Mountains YHA, one of the nicest hostels we've stayed in, and had a bit of a lie down to gain some energy to go out for dinner!!! We did finally make it out, and went for a very yummy chinese. But here's the best part, we were sitting happily eating our dinner, when Hiliary only walks past!! Just when we thought we'd seen the back of that crazy woman!! It turns out she was staying in the YHA too, lol then we bumped into Lindsey, another girl we met on Oz Experience, so the 3 of us were made to sit down an listen to Hiliary's adventures!! That left us well and truly knackered so we headed off to our very comfy beds for the night when we finally managed to get away!!

The next day we had breakfast and then wandered around the town for a bit, which was literally one street! So as you can imagine, we'd finished that pretty quickly and so sat in the garden and sunbathed for an hour or so before moving inside and reading our books for the rest of the day, until the bus came to pick us up and take us back to Sydney at 5pm!!
