Hello from Malaysia! What a great country. We arrived in Kuala Lumpur on the 27th very early in the morning having flown from Phuket, very convenient and cheap. We'd arranged accomodation and stayed in KL for 4 nights. We got to see the Petronas twin towers, Menara Tower, Batu caves and lots more of the city, all great and amazing to experience different culture and architecture. The food, culture and people are really great, very helpful and friendly. We went out for Red's birthday, grabbed a curry which was great and splashed out on a beer or two, but alcohols a tad expensive here so didnt go all out!!

We made or way down to Melaka by coach and we are now on our second day here. Being here as been an experience- We went for lunch after arriving, we were minding our own business when we noticed four girls taking photos and giggling. A few minutes later they came over and asked if they could interview us about Malaysian food.

Throughout the day people waved at us from cars, people were taking cheeky photos, and another group of 'university' students quizzed us about Malay culture and again recorded this bit of research they were conducting, all very strange but was great to play 'celebrities' for the day! ;-) We've managed to see a lot of Melaka too including a Mosque, a Temple, a night market in china town and St. Pauls Church. We move onto Singapore in a day or two so finding accomodation for that today. Will get intouch again soon...
