1. Helsinki wifi is amazing
2. I might become an ex-pat someday
3. I forgot to mention that in Prague they never bring your check until you ask, they bring credit card machines to your table so you never hand your card off, and every meal is topped with coffee or tea and dessert-I'm drinking the best cafe mocha right now
4. I keep having these intense fleeting moments of being ready for motherhood. So weird cuz I've never had that until recently. I actually didn't want kids when I was younger. There is a lot I want to do before motherhood.
I also just had 2 of the most amazing conversations. One was with a couple of professors. They currently both teach math at Harvard and are tenured. They told me about their lives and their friends and what it's like to work in academia.
Then I met this guy who toured with the circus taking care of animals. Then he started doing films and stunt work and eventually set up wildlife sanctuaries around the world. Was married with 6 kids and his wife left him. He just spent a long weekend here meeting a Thai woman he met online. He's a tatted up and has no front teeth and is like 6'6 350.
This is why I love airports!
And. I've gone through like 5 checkpoints to get into the states. Ridiculous.
And the Helsinki airport has lounge chairs. Do now I'm in front of a large window watching the clouds skate across the sky while I wait to board.
And I put on perfume from a duty free shop and I keep smelling myself lol
