After some strong advice from some ppl we met in halong Bay we planned to spend the next few days in hoi An as we were told it was 'the best place in Vietnam!' On arriving yesterday we were hi by some very hot weather and spent the afternoon in our hotel pool and being measured for suits by the very enthusiastic tailors of Hoi an! I havent been feeling well for a few days now so we decided to just take it easy and spent the next morning on the beach...mainly in the sea! In the afternoon we had our suits re-fitted and they came out brilliant just 24hrs in the making! Therefore i also had a dress made which will be fitted this afternoon!.

Yesterday we bumped into a lovely couple that we met in Halong Bay. The are from Perth, WA and very friendly...we arranged to meet them for a drink later on and ended up habing dinner with them. they were adament that they were paying, which we were very touched by and have promised to visit them when we travel in west aust! They live out in the country and run a furniture making/restoring business...which was very close to home for sam!

2day we went on a motorbike trip to the Marble Mountains and china Beach....supposedly the beauty of Hoi An...unfortunately we were less than inspired and left quite quickly! very commercial, not a lot to see!

We leave tonight for nha Trang on a 12hr overnight bus trip...so will update when we get there!

Glad to see that summer has finally reached england! Although Sam wants his tan to be better than Kates...so try and stay inside!!!!

Also with his siuts now in tow\....Sams bag is DEFINETLEY heavier than mine!
