Welcome to Vietnam!

We arrived late last nite to Hanoi in northern vietnam. Have spent today wandering around Hanoi Old Quarter getting to know the Vietnamese way of life and how things work over here. The city is clogged with motorcycles who dnt stop for anyone or anything! The Lake in the centre of the Old Quarter is beautiful and also an excellent navigation point as we have already got lost a few times! everywhere seems to look the same!

Nicky and James, you will be pleased to know we are heading straight to Halong bay 2moro on a 3day/2 nite boat trip with one sleeping on the boat and kayacking and snorkelling also! looking forward to this lots.

We have also spent today making a rough plan of what we are going to do when in the next four weeks as time is a slight issue with so much to see and do. we def need to be on toes!
