Good flight from Bangkok yesterday, transfer to patong beach uneventful, was not impressed with Patong beach, but hotel let us use pool while we waited to embark at 4 pm. Smaller than the Royal Clipper, Star Clipper is great, our cabin , just one of two on the top aft deck just two steps away from pool couldn’t be better located. Set sail at ten pm after great dinner with good company .

Our brass and teak cabin, small but perfectly formed. Just returned from snorkelling on coral reef lovely to see it so healthy with fish in abundance, spent so long in , fingers and toes remain all wrinkly. Large super yacht nr by Lionheart will look it up when we get back on the grid .
