Hi family and friends, for those of you who haven't figured it out yet...I didn't take that plane ride home yesterday =) I managed to change my flight at the last minute, book another tour from Cape Town to Victoria Falls (which I just paid for today, and am leaving for in a few hours!), and have been staying in Cape Town for the last two days with one of my best friends, Lena(yes, we've only known each other for three weeks, but those kind of connections seem to happen on trips like these). I'm so excited that I have the opportunity to stay longer...to see Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. I promise that I will write up a long journal entry during the next week, so that when I have the opportunity to use the internet again(probably only 3-4 times in the next 3 weeks) I will be able to share some of my impressions and experiences with you all. I have to admit though, that I have really enjoyed limited contact with the rest of the world during these past few weeks. Sorry to my SB gang, I'm not going to be able to make that trip to Vegas with you guys, but I'm sure you all understand...have a round of drinks for me=). To Grandma and Grandpa, all the Aunties, Fanny, Danny, Jen, the Four J's, and all my friends, I was really looking forward to seeing you inbetween my trips to show you all my pictures and tell you all my adventures, but I promise to come see you all in August when I get back. To Baba, whereever you are, I love you and don't work too hard, or worry about me, I'm in good hands. Oh, and congrats to JayJay for finishing your second year of CCCC! I'm staying in Africa! This is so crazy! I love it...I think travel might be my one addiction.=)
