13/2/06 Just arrived in Adelaide at 8.30amwas a long day as we left Auckland at 6.15am so did not get much sleep. Managed to clear customs without getting arrested, learnt from the last experience. Checked into our hotel called the Rockford and it was a business class room so it was lovely. Chilled and then headed out for a look round the city. I guess its like any other city with lots of shops. We actually found a decent place that makes jacket potatoes, finally proper food. After lunch we came back to the hotel and relaxed in the room and Binita fell asleep. I didn't want to sleep so I got changed and headed upto the hotel pool on the rooftop and had a nice sunbathe. That evening we headed out to find somewhere nice for dinner and we went to an italian. 14/2/06 Valentine's day, its everywhere, so depressing. Anyway the plan was just ot go and c a funny movie and lock ourselves away in the room. Well easier said then done. We went and watched Big Momma's House 2 which was really funny and then came back and got ready and headedup2 the pool. In the evening decided togo out to get some food, good thing we went early cos it was couples galore. We found a really nice thai place called the Lime & Lemon. After dinner we came back and watched tv before falling asleep. 15/2/06 16/2/06 Today was a chilled day slept until 11am andtheneventually got out of bed. We then headed out to get some food and I lost Binita in the process and found her happily sitting in the hotel room. We chilled most of the day and thenin the evening we decided to go watch The Family Stone but when we got there it was no longer showing so we ended up going to see Date Movie, it was okay but I wouldnt recommend it. When we came back we decided we wanted to have dessert but the hotel restaurant was shut so we went for a wonder and found a place but the slice was so big we couldn't finish it but it was good. We then came back and went to sleep. 17/2/06 Today I got out of bed about 11.30am and we headed out about 2.30pm and jumped on a bus to the Haigh Chocolate Factory where we were planning to join the free tour and have some free chocolates but when we got there they said the tour was booked but said after we could do a self-guided tour. So we waited 30mins and it was so crap. We then headed back to the city and Binita went shopping AGAIN and spent 1hr in one shop, madness. We then came back and watched some tv and then in the evening we headed out to dinner at an italian we had found earlier in the week. The food tonight wasn't the best I don't think Australia has heard of cheese! Anyway off to Alice Springs tomorrow really looking forward to seeing Ayres Rock!
