Done and dusted. Well I guess the bike is well and truley dusted. Finished the rally in Wodonga at 12pm on Friday. The days run from Tumet just out of Canberra was a great ride. Plenty of mountain trails that finished with fast gravel.I noticed a strange noise coming from the bike over rough ground. When I stopped and had a look at the front sprocket there were almost no teeth left. Chain was just spinning on the sprocket. A quick change to the spare and I was ...

Almost There... Sorry for the lack of posts been having to much fun riding. Currently in Bathurst will be hitting the race track first thing in the morning. I have teamed up with four Vics and they are great riders. I will post photos when I get back. I have been camping almost every night. The weather has been fantastic, no rain. Cheers Greg

Hi all Thought I better get back to posting something about the trip. The riding has been hard but rewarding. After the Hattah desert we passed through very remote SA bush above Renmark towards the Flinders Ranges. We went out to big red in the Simpson and I made it up first go. Had a beer at Birdsville pub. Next day we headed to Inaminka and the scenery and sandy roads were great. I will continue on and try and make the finish. CheersGreg

Day 1. Wodonga to Hattah - 650km's Black Top & sand Sorry folks, still no photos to post. I'm writing these blogs from my mobile which is not an easy process. Will try and get some up asap. Very long day in the saddle today. There was a little to much black top for the first half of the day but that was made for with some great sand riding around Swan Hill to Hattah. Day 1 Ships & Soft Bikers Although this is not the start of the rally I thought a quick update on our progress was in order. The spirit of Tas journey went well. The seas were kind to us but the ocean recliners tested our backs. Managed to get a lift to Wodonga so km total was zero. Saturday should se us around the Hatah desert near Mildura.
