Hey guys, As I promised I am writing a blog entry in Alice Springs, which is smack bang in the middle of Australia. Unfortunately duty calls and I am going out drinking soon so this will only be a quick one and the massive blog for the past week and the next 4 days will be put up on Thursday when the trek is finished. I could rush through what I have done but its not worth it.

Since Darwin I have had an amazing time, even better than the travelling before getting there. I have seen a lot of cool stuff, especially the various swimming locations, the croc jumping and most of all the devils marbles (will put pics up of them with the rest).

The next 3/4 days promise to be the best days of the trek as we are seeing the three most striking natural features in all of Australia- Uluru, Kata Jtuta and Kings Canyon where I will be quad biking and camel riding tomorrow (awesome!).

Anyways I best be off. You will have a mother load of writing and pctures to view on Thursday so be prepared (as you can see I have put some up today anyway but the net cafes here are so crap it takes an age to do anything)
