Today we went to see the changing of the guards. It draws a big crowd. We got there an hour early to get a good spot and knew when the soldiers were coming, not just by the sound of the band but by the simultaneous raising of cameras, phones and selfie sticks. Today we went on our second tour. This time to Warwick Castle, Stratford Upon Avon, a drive through the Cotswolds and finally on to Oxford. I really loved Warwick Castle when I visited over 20 years ago and it's still just as great. We only had 1 1/2 hours there. Today we did a bus tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. It was a long day but totally worth it. It was supposed to be raining but by the time we got to Stonehenge the sun had come out and we had blue sky for the rest of the day. Only 2 more full days left here in the UK before we head over to Paris.

Today we headed off the to Cardiff. It is an easy 2 hour train ride from London. We got on the Cardiff Hop on Hop off bus - Cardiff's population is the same as Canberra's so no traffic to slow and us up this time. First stop, The Doctor Who Experience. Today John & I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. It has been lovely to spend it with the kids in London. Our first stop was St Paul's Cathedral. We would have like to gone inside and climbed up to the dome but it wasn't on our London Pass and I didn't think £18 per adult entry fee was worth it! Across the Millennium Bridge to Shakespear's Globe Theatre. It was really interesting and the tour was very informative. They don't run plays in the winter...
