We visited several battlefields and war cemeteries. Outside Fromelles is this moving statue of 'Cobbers', helping each other to safety on the battlefield. A new primary school has just opened in the past couple of years in Fromelles, called the 'des Cobbers' and has the kangaroo as a logo in recognition of the contribution Australia made to the war effort in WW1 on the area. It was really moving stuff.
