I'm on the move again, yipppeee!!!!!!! I finally received my card details. I haven't wasted anytime and I have bought a bus ticket up to Chiang Mai, a 12hr journey. It cost 7.50 pounds. Here, I hope to trek with the hill tribes and then head to Loas and Cambodia. I can't beleive how soon the 12mths have come round. My return is looming, 6 weeks to go. Didn't get to make to China or India, but I'm sure they can wait a little longer me.

I was begining to tire of the Ko San Rd area. Its so full of tourist tat. I wondered why eveyone had full heads of dreadlocks and crap tattoos, you can have fake dreaklock entensions for 6-10 pounds and tattoos for 2-5 pounds. And No, you will not see me fashioning either! Beers are 60-80p, cocktails are 1-3 pounds and accomdation is 2-10 pounds a night. I have seen packs of young men hounding women and fat old men walking around with thai women as if they own them. Sex is a commodity which can be bought or sold as if you are at a cattle market. I've been told that there are as many white westen women as there are white western men in the red light districts. strange but true...Its all very sleezy and its made worse in the humity. Everything is hot, muggy and sticky.

I have only a few hours now before I'm off and away. I think I will enjoy Bangkok more when I return. Thats when I will go on a spending spree. You can buy made to measure suits/clothes very cheaply. A jacket, skirt and pair of trousers costs 60 euros. Something else I will invest in.
