August 1st (Rexburg to Salt Lake City) Yes, Rexburg is in Idaho, Salt Lake City is in Utah, I know now thanks Mark. In the few hours I spent in Rexburg, I found the people there very friendly and helpful to strangers. I visited the tourist information building to find out about internet facilites and a young woman offered to call her mother in Salt Lake to see if she had a room availible for me. Her mother had a full house and couldn't help, so the woman gave me a lift to library, so I could use the internet. I then went into a food store to buy a few things and for some reason my debit card would not work. The young gentleman behind me offered to pay the bill. I was amazed. After a blind panic, I went to the ATM and it gave me cash without any problem. This was all in a space of 1 hour. I left Rexburg on a bus to Salt Lake City in awe of its community spirit and its willingness to help strangers.
