Well Vietiane, is what we would call 'rubble city' its so dusty and seroiusly manky compared to Luang Prabang! I miss it! though its savings grace is that it did have a jomas so i was able to have more veg lasagane!! Well we got into Luang Prabang. Its very dusty but am having an awesome time. Our hotel is amazing, we have bungalows-goregous room and most important a nice clean bathroom! It was a surprise as out tuk tuk jounrey was takng us further away from the main part and it was getting more shantty like, untill we got to our hotek which is stunning - got 3 nights here. Well we are in Laos! spent 2 days on a boat going down the river in order to get to our first main stop of Luang Prabang. The boat trip was amazing, we were on teh Mekong river, which is absolitely stunning. We spent our time reading, sleeping eating! We had a an immense tour guide Khan Fuang. Well i'm in chang mai for the hext 30 mins and am then leaving for a 5 hours bus journey to chang kong. came to chng mai yesterday after leaving bangkok, after a day. in bangkok we saw wat po and went on the khlong(canal) in a boat, then a few of us went to the Grand Palace in a tuk tuk. Then Rob and i wnet and had a thai massage ntense! we hada chilled nght in bangkok, sitting on a street bar - so cheap about 50p for a bottle of beer! then hada 14 hour sleep...
