Well we got on the bus this morning knowing there was typhoon pending of the coast with Halong Bay in it's sights and sure as, we got the good news / bad news scenario!! We chose the bad news first and were told we were not going to Halong Bay! Then came the good news and we were told it was 'Nimbin'!!!! Well you can imagine the cheers of the baby boomers from Australia on the bus. The local tour guide wasn't sure how to react until told by the tour leader what we were cheering about!!!! Anyway it turns out we were off to Ninh Binh which is about 95 kms south of Ha Noi where the Trang-An-Eco caves are. I was immediately into my DK travel book and couldn't find anything due to the fact that my book was not up to date because they had only been discovered 3 years ago!!!!! To be continued.......
