Writing this from Vic Falls in Zimbabwe - country number 4! What's new?
After Swakop we had some pretty hardcore days of driving to make up for lost time and to get to Maun on time - sadly our tour leader Eddie had to leave and fly back to Oz, so time was really of the essence. En route, we had one night's stop at a Cheetah Park, …
Hi - thanks for reading! After years and months of planning and dreaming, I embarked of my trip of a lifetime (but hopefully not the last one) on July 11th 2007. For 5 months I'll be making my way through bits of Southeast Asia and South America with Caroline, and for the last 5 months I'll be making my way home through New Zealand and Southern and Eastern Africa (with a quick stop in Melbourne for Christmas and Sydney for New Year - did someone say Ashes?!).
So these are the ta…

I arrived in Cape Town a bit later than planned – Oz evidently has quite a strong hold on me! So that left me with just 4 days to explore a bit before hitting my 6-week overland up to Na…

Hello Anna
Thanks for telling us you were going as we had not realised it was now!! Just spent some time reading your diary so far. It all sounds very exciting so we will look in again. Singapore slings are perhaps sweet but there is something colonial and a bit special about Raffles. Have sent your message on to S&A. Doug got his FRCA which is brill and Sarah passed 2 parts of her MRCGP and has just 1 left to do. A still with Emma and moving to Birmingham to a new school in Solihull. J&V same and bit boring
LOL
