G'Day, Been here in Cairns almost a week now. The weather has been great and we have been sunbathing at the Lagoon most days. Cairns is very touristy but we like it. There is also loads of nightlife, and anyone who has been will know that this revolves around the Woolshed! We leave Cairns on Wednesday when we will be driving down the east coast to Sydney in a yute with a couple of fellas that we have met from England who are doing the same route. We hope to arrive in Sydney in the first week of December. Camping will be optional along the way, but we're not too sure how well us 'Posh Packers' will cope with that?! One thing that we keep forgetting to tell you about is how almost everyone that we meet seems to think that we are twins/sisters/from the same family......in Thailand, the phrase was 'same same'. We heard this a lot and even some English people are asking the same question. The first place that we will be visiting is Mission Beach so we will send you an update from there.
